Parkway in Motion is thrilled to announce the award of a grant of $225,000 to Ethos, a non-profit dedicated to serving older adults in Southwest Boston. Parkway in Motion has long been focused on supporting and connecting the community through various youth-focused and wellness-focused events. This expansion of our focus allows us to connect and support the older adult population in West Roxbury, Roslindale, and Hyde Park. We are fortunate to partner with Ethos, a non-profit known for its range of programs and services that help older adults live healthy and active lives.
The expansion of Parkway in Motion’s focus to support of senior programming could not have happened without the support of former Representative Ed Coppinger. Rep. Coppinger reached out to Parkway in Motion last year to discuss the longstanding and unmet need for senior programming in the Parkway area. Rep. Coppinger’s advocacy and support for securing funding for this initiative enabled Parkway in Motion’s to partner with Ethos to make this programming happen.
