Parkway In Motion
Our Vision
At Parkway In Motion, we seek to strengthen and connect the communities of West Roxbury, Roslindale, and Hyde Park by supporting youth participation in PIM events and in our local athletic leagues that will strengthen our neighborhood youth camaraderie. Throughout the year, we host several events to bring local youth together and several fundraising events that enable us to host those youth events. We hope that this website will keep the community informed of our events and help connect Parkway athletes and their families with the multitude of athletic opportunities in our area.
Our Mission
Parkway In Motion is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that seeks to support the local youths of West Roxbury, Roslindale, and Hyde Park, and engage the Parkway community through its events. Parkway In Motion was established in 1998 as a means to help raise funds for local schools, community centers, and athletic leagues. Since that time, the organization has grown in both size and stature and our mission has evolved.
The benefits of growing up and living in the Parkway area are undeniable. Through our events, we hope to reconnect former members and introduce new members of the Parkway community to the opportunities that make this area great. Parkway In Motion strives to ensure those same opportunities exist for our youth and for future generations.
Parkway In Motion has continued to grow each year, adding new events and establishing a scholarship program. Since 2014, Parkway In Motion has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarship funding to local youth. In 2020, the Michael Kennedy Mentorship Project is being introduced as an effort to honor a local hero and to inspire the next Parkway generation to embrace mentorship in his memory.
Every donation received by Parkway In Motion is an investment in our community, used to fund our scholarships and to finance free athletic events for kids.

Parkway in Motion is excited to announce that our second Holiday Night will be December 16th from 4-10pm at the Irish Social Club! Holiday Night will be a family-friendly event for all ages.
